Adding Loot + Loot Selection


After several days of letting the project simmer on the back of my head, I decided to work on the main Rogue-like system that I'm certain will be in the end product. There are still many mechanics that I'm still not sure about: Whether or not there should be a limit on the number of weapons / equipment a player can pickup and if so, does that mean some characters can hold more items than others? 

Someone gave me the idea to create something more... Risk of Rain-esque. While the player can find and equip weapons, equipment are not going to have a limit. They'll stack their effects similar to ROR2 with some items having diminishing returns when stacked multiple times while others will scale linearly. 

At first, my goal with this little project was merely to completely replicate Vampire Survivors in a more pixelated style + much better UX. Now, however, I'm of the mind to create a completely different game  based upon two similar mechanics: The player is the bullet hell and the player has no control over any of his skills / weapons.
